Held in The Engine Room, Marshall’s Yard and organised by elise of Gainsborough bridal, the show was a great success.
As you can see from the photos here, the prom gowns and evening suits were stunning. If you are looking for that special something to wear over the festive season I’d highly recommend a visit to their shop in Gainsborough. The prom fayre supported the Help for Heroes charity and hundreds of pounds was raised on the day. There were quite a few companies around the hall during the day with the accessories being provided by New Look, Claire’s accessories and D’Amour.
To do my bit and support the event I set up a small studio at the back of the hall to take photos of the models and photograph the runway show. Overall I believe everyone enjoyed the day and I hope the models, most of whom had no modelling experience, enjoyed their experience in front of the camera too. It was certainly fun getting them to relax and pose for the camera.
Oh, before I forget I’d like to thank Mavis and Sheila for the timely tea and slice of cake. Much needed and greatly appreciated.
